This come with the PowerPoint which is an adult led activity. Macros need to be enabled for it to work, you may get a message to enable if they aren’t. Also do not save it once played, as the letters will be saved onto the crossword. Also included are a cut and stick version in PDF, written version in PDF and an answer booklet. There are two files include: Phase 2 Phonic Flowers - Display Version This pack has a flower for each of the Phase 2 sounds. Each flower is in parts and will need cutting out. For long term use print onto card and laminate. These can be used as part of an interactive display or a table top where children can attach the petals to the correct sound. Phase 2 Phonic Flowers -Cut and Stick Version This pack has a flower for each of the Phase 2 sounds and has been designed as a cut and stick activity. Each flower is black and white or uses grey scale to enable cost effective photocopying. There is a dotted line around each part to make it easier for younger pupils or those with fine motor issues easier to cut. Older or more adapt pupils may want to cut around the thick black lines.

Created as I couldn’t find a mat that had everything I wanted on one mat. This pack Phase 2/3 mats with sounds and pictures as well as lower and upper case letters. It also includes three different font versions: Sassoon Infant, CCW Writing and Dyslexie. The Sassoon Infant and CCW have two versions; one with the HFWs and then the Tricky Words and another where they are in alphabetical order, in colour coded boxes with Tricky Words in bold. The Dyslexie version is slightly different and has a sound mat for Phase 2 and Phase 5 separate and a word mat for each phase including Phase 4 for the HFWs and Tricky Words which can be printed/photocopied on to the back of the sound mats. Includes Phase 2 and 3 sounds, capital letters where appropriate and high frequency words for Phases.

There is a cake for each Phase 2 sound. The sound is on the cherry and the cake case has pictures and/or words that contain that sound. The cake is my own design and each one is different. Each set has different shaped sprinkles in the icing.

This mega pack has activities and games that cover Phase 2 sounds and words. It has been divided up into initial sounds, writing and spelling, reading and some alien word activities. The leaves have been designed that the stalk is an alternate sides enabling them to be display as a tree or beanstalk. These would be great for a growing display where each word is added as they are learnt. They lend themselves for a tree, jungle or beanstalk display.
